If energy had a name, it might just be Kayce Bedford. Whether she’s dancing her way through life (Zumba included), managing a busy workday, or crushing workouts at Eclipse, Kayce brings enthusiasm and joy wherever she goes. She’s known for her love of rowing, lifting, and moving with purpose—and for proving that progress comes from showing up and having fun along the way.
Kayce’s growth in the gym speaks for itself, from hitting personal milestones she once thought were out of reach to simply feeling stronger and more confident each day. Add in her fearless attitude, contagious laughter, and the encouragement she gives her training buddies, and it’s easy to see why she’s such a valued part of our community.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do outside of the gym.
Wait… do people actually have lives outside of the gym? I go to my other gym, lol. I dance! I love Zumba, and in my free time that’s usually what I’m doing—shaking what my momma gave me. I’m also the manager of a used car dealership, which is perfect for my social personality.
Outside of CrossFit, what are some of your favorite hobbies, talents, or skills?
I love audiobooks. If I’m home, it probably includes earbuds with the latest bestsellers or music blaring.
If you could create your own WOD, what would it be? Definitely NO BURPEES. I can row all day—while singing, even. I like sit-ups, rowing, and kipping. I’d have to say a combo of those three, with a side of dancing thrown in periodically.
Who do you love training next to and why? Yesenia, Kim Sweat (until she turned to the dark side), and lately… Anne. Monica is the OG workout buddy—always. They all laugh, don’t take things too seriously, and encourage me daily. Love them.
What’s your proudest moment or biggest accomplishment since joining?
I wouldn’t say I have just one. Feeling stronger, being able to do 50 sit-ups unbroken, leveling up my fitness in workouts, being able to wog (walk/jog) without dying—those are all my proudest moments. Doing things, I once couldn’t. Knowing and feeling stronger.
What’s your go-to pump-up song right now?
Aww man, you have to limit me to one? I don’t know if I can. I’m an equal-opportunity music listener. Give me a beat and I’m in it to win it.
Cardio or Lifting?
Lifting.
What’s your Crossfit spirit animal? (best describes you during a wod)
I asked my three coworkers—they spend 40 hours a week in close quarters with me, and two have even worked out with me. One said a wolverine because I’m tenacious, a little wild, and original. Another said a tiger because I’m fearless, never get tired, and highly motivated when hungry. The last said a jaguar because I’m fierce, fast (ummm), and crazy. You pick—no pressure, lol.
Any fun facts or something most people at the gym might now know about you?
I got all my tattoos since August of ’24… midlife crisis, anyone? I speak Pig Latin fluently. I can say all 50 states in alphabetical order. Overall, I’m just a really cool human—duh.
What advice would you give someone who is considering starting at Crossfit Eclipse?
Just do it. Don’t let the word CrossFit intimidate you. We’re all normal people working on our fitness. Not to mention the incredible people I’ve met here. Best. Gym. Ever.
