This month, we’re proud to celebrate Becky Lester as our Athlete of the Month at CrossFit Eclipse!
Becky might fly under the radar at times, but her consistent effort, humble attitude, and love for learning have made her stand out. Whether she’s hitting a regular class or showing up for barbell work, she puts in the extra time to grow stronger — and it’s clearly paying off.
She joined Eclipse after driving by and deciding to give CrossFit a shot. The variety of workouts and the supportive coaching staff were just what she was looking for — and it’s what’s kept her coming back. Becky has already achieved several personal goals (including her first box jump!), and she’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Outside the gym, Becky’s creative side comes to life through knitting, sewing, and baking. And when it comes to staying motivated, she lives by Coach Nate’s wise words:
“Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.”
As for the gym playlist? If Coach Darius is on the speakers, Becky’s ready to roll.

Outside of CrossFit, what are some of your favorite hobbies, talents, or skills?
Knitting, sewing, baking
How did you find CrossFit Eclipse, and what led you to join?
Driving by, I wanted to try CrossFit classes because I heard there was quite a variety of workouts led by coaches, and I knew that would really challenge me and improve my fitness if I stuck with it.
What keeps you coming back to the gym?
I really enjoy the workouts. The coaches are amazing, and I’ve achieved some of the goals that I have set — and I’m excited to keep going.
What’s your proudest moment or biggest accomplishment since joining?
Getting my first box jump was exciting!

What kind of music gets you pumped up during a workout?
Coach Darius always plays great music.
