CrossFit Eclipse is excited to announce that we are now an approved Epic Charter Schools vendor!
Eligible Epic students may be able to use available Learning Fund dollars toward Youth Performance classes at CrossFit Eclipse. This gives Epic families another option for helping their children stay active, build confidence and develop healthy habits.
Our new Youth Performance class for children ages 5–9 begins Wednesday, September 9.

A Physical Education Option for Homeschool Families
Finding a consistent physical education option can sometimes be challenging for homeschool families.
Oklahoma includes physical education among the subjects that should be included in a home education program. CrossFit Eclipse Youth Performance gives families a structured, coach-led opportunity to make movement and fitness part of their child’s weekly routine.
Our program is designed to support a family’s physical education goals through age-appropriate instruction and activities. Parents should speak with their Epic teacher or education adviser about how outside activities fit into their student’s individual learning plan or academic requirements.
The class is open to both Epic and non-Epic homeschool families.
What Will Kids Do in Class?
Youth Performance is not an adult CrossFit class given to children. Every class is designed specifically for the students’ ages, abilities and attention spans.
Classes may include:
- Running, jumping, throwing and foundational movement skills
- Balance, coordination and body control
- Age-appropriate strength and fitness activities
- Games, relays and team challenges
- Listening, communication and teamwork
- Opportunities to build confidence and overcome challenges
No previous sports or fitness experience is required. Activities can be adjusted to meet each child at their current ability level.
Our goal is to help children associate movement with something positive, develop confidence in what their bodies can do and build habits that can support them throughout their lives.
What Does Being an Approved Epic Vendor Mean?
Epic’s Learning Fund provides eligible students with account credit that may be used for qualifying educational resources and extracurricular activities.
Because CrossFit Eclipse is an approved Epic vendor, eligible students may be able to use available Learning Fund dollars toward our Youth Performance program.
Epic determines eligibility, available balances and final approval. Parents should confirm that funds are available and contact CrossFit Eclipse before registering with Epic funds. Parents or guardians are responsible for any portion of the program cost that Epic does not pay.
Families who are not enrolled with Epic can register and pay through CrossFit Eclipse normally.
Parents Can Train at the Same Time
Our regular 9:30 a.m. CrossFit class takes place at the same time as Youth Performance.
Parents can complete their own workout while their child participates in a separate, coach-led class. It is a convenient way for the whole family to make health and fitness part of the school day.
Looking for Another Age Group?
We are beginning with ages 5–9, but we are also working to add Youth Performance and homeschool PE classes for additional age groups.
Possible future options include:
- Ages 10–14
- Teen strength and conditioning
- Additional homeschool class times
- After-school youth classes
- Sports performance training
If your child is outside the current age range, contact us with your child’s age and the days and times that work best for your family. The interest we receive will help determine which class we open next.
