When did you first start CrossFitting?   June 2014

Tell us about your sports & fitness background.

Moderate workouts, some hiking, running, biking but not really structured which left my workouts or activates good but not gaining anything for event to event.

How did you first get into CrossFit? How did it go?

My wife, (Terri) attended a class at Eclipse Crossfit and came home so excited she said to me “that I needed to try Crossfit”, so I went to a class. I was hooked the first night in the mod. class. For the first time I was being pushed beyond my comfort zone even in the mod. Class. Each class got better and better.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting CrossFit?

I am much stronger, faster physically and better than ever mentally as I’m pushed to keep doing things I didn’t think I could do. My body has begun to change like no other time in my life as I now have muscular definition, lean muscle and strength.  The Whole Life Challenge brought my game to the point I finally see some results and feel better than ever, really free better than I ever thought possible.  Started the Challenge at 192# and today weigh about 173#.  I feel so good I’m thinking about doing a spring Crossfit Challenge of some kind.

What impact has CrossFit had on your life?

It is my life – I feel stronger, faster and even more alert when I do Crossfit. When I don’t do Crossfit I feel lost, slow and sluggish.

What is your advice for people getting started or thinking about starting CrossFit?

I tell everyone “it will change your life forever if you give it a chance.”

What are your hobbies, interests, and other talents outside of CrossFit?

I like to do the following things; hunting, bicycling, running, motorcycling and reading. I like to study, short quick studies, on subjects I’m into and then get better.
