When did you first start CrossFit? April 2021
Tell us about your sports & fitness background.
I grew up playing football and lifting weights but my claim to fame is my run at the 2008 Beijing Olympics for my gymnastics floor routine.. unfortunately I tested positive for being too jacked and handsome to compete.
How did you first get into CrossFit?
How did it go? A good friend of mine always did CrossFit and I liked to give them a hard time about the common stereotypes you hear of. I eventually broke down and gave it a shot and I’ve been hooked ever since.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting CrossFit?
Before CrossFit I really just liked lifting weights and I can honestly say since starting I not only feel better but have seen massive gains in my overall strength and fitness.
What impact has CrossFit had on your life?
This will probably sound cliche’ but I feel happier. Before CrossFit I constantly felt stressed or just overwhelmed, but for that hour you don’t have time to worry about anything except completing the workout. I would recommend everyone give CrossFit a chance!
What is your advice for people getting started or thinking about starting CrossFit?
Just do it! If you sit around and wait for the “right time” you will never start. If you just walk in the door and stay consistent you will undoubtedly be impressed with the results.
What are your hobbies, interests, and other talents outside of CrossFit?
I love spending time with my kids and 2 German Shepherds! As of recently I have been dabbling in becoming a master chef. Let’s just say my cooking abilities are about as good as my doubleunders! Talents? I have a sick Donald Trump impression and I am the self proclaimed king of random facts and trivia.
What’s the wallpaper of your phone?
One of my German Shepherds Sir Winston Churchill III.
